XWMS Account Unlock

How account unlock protects important account actions in XWMS.

Account Unlock

XWMS can ask you to unlock your account before you change sensitive settings. This protects your account if a browser session is left open or if someone gains temporary access to your device.

When unlock is required

Account unlock can be required before actions such as:

  • changing your password
  • adding or removing external login accounts
  • changing important profile details
  • managing payments or subscriptions
  • requesting account erasure
  • approving high-risk account actions

How it works

  1. You start a protected action.
  2. XWMS asks you to confirm that it is really you.
  3. You complete the unlock challenge.
  4. The protected action becomes available for a short time.

Why this matters

Unlock keeps normal browsing fast while still adding extra protection around actions that could affect login access, billing, privacy, or long-term account control.

If unlock fails

Check that you are using the correct account and that your browser allows the required security flow. If the problem continues, contact XWMS support from the email address linked to your account.
